| "Le Palaie" is a beautifully conserved 16th century farm situated in rich farmland on a gentle hill overlooking the Casentino Valley in Tuscany. It is just 14 Km from the historical town of Arezzo. "Le Palaie" is set in the tranquil surroundings of cypress trees, vines and olive groves and produces organic wine and olive oil. The owners believe in preserving old traditions and conserving the farmhouse and farm buildings in their traditional style. Great care was taken in the restructuring of the farm buildings to preserve their characteristic features of stone, wood and wrought iron. The farm still has a working wood burning oven in one of the farm buildings that is used to bake bread for special occasions. |
