Poggiopiano Farm lies only 7 kms to the east Florence yet fully immersed in the greenery of the hills overlooking the Arno Valley, amidst olive-groves and vineyards facing the sun.The apartments and the rooms, all with bathroom, are located in a typical Tuscan farmhouse, with private swimming pool, restored in 1999 respecting the local architecture. All the rooms have central heating and some have a open fire.

Sport and nature lovers can enjoy country walks or bike or horseback riding (riding track at 9 kms away). The National Park of Casentino is only 30 minutes drive away. Florence and Fiesole are both 7 kms away, Siena, Arezzo, Lucca, are reached in 45 minutes by car. In the village of Girone, 900 metres from the farm, the local bus for the centre of Florence leaves approximately every 15 minutes.
