| This Hotel is on the edge of Nocchi, a small, old village of Longobard origin ( founded in 900 A.D.) in the municipal area of Camaiore. It stands in the middle of a green country, just inland from the Versilia coast, that is a few miles from the lovely renowned beaches of Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi, which you can reach by car in a quarter of an hour.The Hotel is sorrounded by a pleasant park with a private swimmingpool and parking place, so that it offers the guests the necessary privacy and relaxation in peaceful, comfortable and homely sorroundings. The Hotel consists of two structures in the park itself: The Villa and what we call “Rustico”. The two buildings have been restored carefully by the heirs of the last member of the noble family Paoli Graziani, who are also the managers. The Villa was built in 1692. It has 10 doublerooms each with a bathroom. Many of them still have the original frescoes on the walls or ceilings. Some of them are large, other a little smaller, but all of them are full of light and offer a particular atmosphere of old times. The Rustico, which goes back to the 18th Century, was once used as an agricultural building. Now it houses 4 doublerooms, each with a bathroom, overlooking the park. It was restored with the aim of keeping its original look and structure, its rural characteristics, using materials like wood and terracotta tiles. As all the bedrooms are equally comfortable and lovely, the owners do not make any difference between those in the Villa and those in the Rustico. |
